Poem: Girl of the Tilt-a-Whirl

She’s the girl of the tilt-a-whirl
Who smells like cotton candy
With gleaming neon in her eyes
She’s the laughter of roller coasters
The racing heart of a haunted ride
Who tastes like caramel apples
And feels like the fading warmth
Of a late August summers night
She’s the girl of the traveling fair
Filled with fun and memories
That are always gone too soon
