Poem: Skipping Galaxies

Running fingers through galaxies
She sends the stars scattering
Like rocks across the rippling water
Causing quantum changes in the infinite
Down to the finite creatures
Feeling the breeze of the universe
In a butterflies wing fluttering
Disturbing the molecules that connect
Each moment to moment stretching
Back to the beginning of existence
Where a little girl kicks her feet waiting
Just beyond the cusp of everything
Hoping that someone insignificant
Would think a thought for her
Out here in the deepest of dark
Basking in the light of all the suns that are
And have been and are yet to be
