Poem: Queen of California
11:11 and I’m making my wish
To be with you where you are
I picture you standing there
In your underwear in front
Of a full window overlooking
The lights of LA stretching out

She had to try out the dream
To find out it wasn’t the fantasy
Her mind has made it up to be
The girl who had been so free
Traveling the world on a whim
Convinced herself that a farm

Walking down dirt roads
