A fair pilgrim set off into the North
To a distant sacred place far from home
Where Saint Jude and his lost causes went forth
In the dark wilds he found himself alone
In those places where no good souls should roam

Poem: Ruby Red Lips
ruby red lips
full of vitality
a pained reminder
of the ravages
age upon body
Poem: Arthur
Fates be blind
Still in the dark
They still do find
Courageous souls
With word and shield
He lead his men
Battle in field
Their glory won
Poem: Nymph
There’s a girl dancing in the rain
Splashing up high in puddles deep
On the outside may seem quite plain
Only to those who walk in sleep
Poem: The Situation as it Stands
Two packets of sugar sit between us
Coffee gone cold like the conversation
Neither raising what we need to discuss
Each being held back by reservation
This an unfamiliar hesitation
When we loved each other we loved freely
