Poem: Blizzard
a single snowflake
does not alone change weather
flurries make the storm
turning relentless blizzard
changing the entire landscape

There’s a great many things changing

In the PNW it grows wetter
With great stretching grey days
That seem to reach towards forever

Sitting in the bed she watches
Him move naked across the room
Smile on her lips and buzzing in her head
She picks up her blue guitar and strums

We kicked our feet on swings
That protested more than we did

While we were running out of energy
