Poem: Such is the Way it Goes
Such is the way it goes
When it all seems to fall away
Into component pieces crashing
Scattering to the whistling wind
As we clamor to pick each up
Poem: The Unseen Pieces
I am unconditional
What I give of myself
I give to others freely
Except those pieces
That I keep for myself
Poem: What’s the Point

I can feel the decay
Setting in my veins
Watching the walls
Melting before my eyes
I wonder what it’s all for
Poem: Dinner Guest

The piece of me you asked for
A carved out prime cut
Served up on a gilded plate
For you to lick your lips
Salivating over the feast
Poem: Pieces of Me
It’s the little things
That make up memories
All the pieces of me
Held together by arms
Of experiences I’ve had
