The hours of sunlight have long past
I’m here in the places where nobody comes
Once street lights are on and the kids have gone home
The silence of daylight still echoes here
But I can’t hear it over the memories I’m replaying

Poem: All Hallow’s Eve
On All Hallows’ Eve
Ghost and ghouls come at night
Dancing and shaking to cause fright
Amongst decaying fallen leaves
Poem: Ancient Terrors
ancient terrors reach
from the miasma of graves
luring with ghost lights
Poem: In Waking Dreams
in my waking dreams
the lights of past ghosts watch me
a silent haunting
Poem: Pumpkin Persona
from vine to gourd growing
big and round and plump
perfect orange better than my pumpkin kin
a testament to fall
waits in muddy field
Poem: Living with Ghosts
It’s days like these
When all my rooms
Seem to hold ghosts
Of the past in shadows
That no amount of light
Can seem to chase away
Poem: Chairs Up
When the laughter goes silent
Like a bar at closing
Where the chairs are all up
The floor is swept
And it’s me and this bottle
With all the ghosts of the night
