Since I did an acrostic poem yesterday, for Lillian’s acrostic plus poem prompt over at dVerse, I decided to do acrostic plus plus, where both ends of the stanza form the acrostic.

Oh my, you are ambitious! The poem is awesome, especially that ending. You might be surprised what people see that you think that you are hiding. Likewise, you might be surprised that what is revealed is just a veil…

I often think about this quote from Freud, which I’ve found to be mostly true—“He that has eyes to see and ears to hear may convince himself that no mortal can keep a secret. If his lips are silent, he chatters with his fingertips; betrayal oozes out of him at every pore.”

The first part of the quote seems to contradict the rest, (maybe it’s a matter of semantics) but I agree with the second part. All that is left is confirmation, which will come with time.

Wowza! Acrostic Plus Plus. Well done.
I especially like this descriptive phrase:
“ the tangled emotional tsunamI”

It is sad how others hide from us what we can figure out and see for ourselves. Sometimes, it’s just that obvious and it’s shameful when people try to play us like fools. Very beautifully and evocatively written, and how you kept your unique style in acrostic form (both ways, I might add) is an amazing feat. My hat is off to you!

Little lies have a way of morphing into big lies … your take on the challenge is ‘spot on.’

So easy for some to hide behind lies… but it’s often to late when we realize that wall will always make us weaker.

Acrostics and pluses all over the place, and still managed to make your point. BRAVO!
