I wrote a poem to Charles Bukowski yesterday for the d’Verse prompt to write to someone you admire. In reading the other poems I noticed the Mr. Ginsberg was neglected, so I wanted to rectify that today.

I was inspired to try and channel him, and once I got into it, it really was a pleasure to emulate his style.

The money spent on the Ouija board was well spent 😉 I really did feel the flow when writing this one though, I’m glad it came off as well as it seems to have.

I love it, his style in Howl is just amazing. I remember listening to the poem when on an overnight flight… and it still lingers.

Outstanding! I studied “Howl” in college. Ginsberg’s poem is epic. You have created your own contemporary masterpiece.
