When I try to see the world I become like a blind man Unable to see beyond self Too big in its immenseness Of diversity and divergence To understand with one set of eyes Only by my turning my eyes inward Do I see any permanence of truth I remain always me regardless The world continually changes Quicker than my perception does I am always the constant rock On which I stand to see heights That are greater than myself
