Before this moment I lived with a palette of grays
All the shades of monochrome differentiated
Lights and darks instead of vibrance and saturation
In the moment you walked into the room color burst
Flooding my life with pigments as I never imagined
A sharp contrast to the monochrome I had lived
From this moment forward I couldn’t go back
With a desperate need of your rainbow existence
Filling the canvas of my life in full spectrum

I see that… lots of creativity seems to be flowing through you all at once. Looks like you’ve found your muse. I’ll have to follow your rainbow and see if I can find mine. 🙂

Thank you! I describe emotions like crayons. The more words for emotions you have the more colorful your world.

Love it! A fellow poet read a beautiful poem about crayon colors at the last poetry slam I read at. I wish I had a copy of it to share with you. I recently purchased a book called, The Emotion Thesaurus by Ackerman and Puglisi. You might want to check it out. Not that you need it given your background and writing abilities.

I’m always up for recommendations. You’ll have to try harder to offend me 😉

I won’t try to do that. Should I do that, I apologize in advance. 😉
