If happiness was a person It would be mother The voice of lullabies Kisses good night Words of encouragement When the world seems too big To give warmth in cold comfort With persistent belief That even when we fall We can get back up again Faith that we can be better In times when there is nothing Except endless self doubt All those things we forget Yet hold deep inside of us To help us smile in those times Where the burdens seem greater Than the benefits when we are alone Knowing that we are never truly alone There is always a piece of happiness She gave to us that we carry on Through all of life’s challenges

If happiness could be defined, the smile that come after reading your poem can be also taken as an example 😉😁😂

“There’s nothing Except endless self doubt”. That’s so true. Sometimes it is hard to step out of the frustration. LOL.

It’s why it’s important to have someone help instill those values of perseverance in us.
