Poem: Nine Lies Limerick

Sleep comes easy to tired eyes
Unaware of mewing mouths telling lies
She watches the clock
Whispering tick tock
Mind winding as time flies

In the morning sun
Both begin to run
One acting the fool
The other off to school
Where there is no fun

School boys tell tales
As big as whales
As she listens in
On hidden sin
As her resolve fails

She home late
Unaware of his fate
As she storms in mad
Yells and calls him a cad
Cats can’t masturbate

My absurd attempt at a limerick for the experimental poem of the week.
